Once again the "Twilight Time blue tint" and I think the Shout Factory release is the same master. Anyway, should "The Fly" look like the blu-ray editions? I suppose not. Does anyone know?
I do agree that the first one does look more IB Tech esque, but that being said, it is entirely possible the movie was photochemically timed to look cool back in the day, though I imagine it'd look better than the Shout! grade. All just speculation of course though.
Yes, but I frequently find that blue tint on Twilight Time blu-rays. For example, "Garden of Evil".

So, I suppose "The Fly" is wrongly corrected.
