Smile  Howdy everyone! I’m over on the FanEdit Subreddit as u/Darksyderz, well as OT! I love fanedits and restorations especially, of all shapes and sizes (the 4K77,4K80 and 4K83 restos are what first got me into all of this)
and it’s a real passion to watch them and as I’ve found over the last year, make my own! I’m always looking for new stuff to watch and that’s a big reason I’ve joined up here. My kids have been bugging me to find more for them to watch too, so it served a triple purpose as I’m also looking for new inspiration all the time.

My own edits/whatever you want to call Ems are basically black and white regrades? Of color movies that I think suit the era and vibe of, Noir and Early 20s to late 40s film style. (The Batman by Matt Reeves being my first real attempt. Three public but really dark ass releases lighting wise, whites were blown out so bad. and a 4th complete and balanced lighting and contrast wise this time waiting to come to the light, The Exorcist, The Order from 03, The Three Musketeers from 48, 2004s the Punisher and a couple I’m still working on with no real eta as my sons first year at school approaches) so thank you so much for allowing me to join and be a part of another wonderful film community!

If anyone would like links to my projects that have a release, feel free to let me know and I’ll send them your way. They’re amateur compared to a lot of what I’ve seen but I’m still quite proud of the end result and learning process! Much love from the Great White North! And don’t forget the Elsinore, Hosers! ❤️ no meanness meant with the last comment I promise I just love Bob and Doug.
Welcome!

Eagerly waiting to see your projects posted here, too!
