@fandeep. Just read your posts above and PDB has already answered.
avatar
@fandeep. Have a quick read of the site rules bud, It explain's why you have had no answer. It's more a community here and not a download site. Welcome to Fanress good sir.
avatar
@PDB Matrix 4! I hear Neill Blomkamp had to move on from the project Smile
avatar
@PDB thanks for replying, yes i commented in The THing Fundamental collection, by Sporv, i got no reply, that is why i am asking here. You saying that movie is nowhere to be found ??
avatar
avatar
any good, free alternatives, that allow big files, with lots of storage?
avatar
damn, uploading to MEGA takes forever!!!!!!!!!
avatar
What's the best settings for Gigapixel?
avatar
Actually Blomkamp made only three feature films; I liked all of them - and still hoping for District 10 - and liked also his latest three shorts - Zygote is creepy (in a good way!)
avatar
So, my curiosity for the IMAX version of Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol came up again today and ended up in this forum, found a thread that is already cancelled, but I'd like to know if there is a way to get the movie they said it is already reworked
avatar
The question is not forbidden but hosting/direct linking of copyrighted material in fanres proper is against the rules. There is no one place to find anything as each project is handled by and the responsibility of the project owner who created it. If you posted in the project thread and no one answered, the project might not be avaible anymore. Sorry
avatar
oops it is that question, is that forbidden, if so i apologise. But i am new i dont know where to find them. please help.
avatar
What do you need fandeep (assuming it is not a question of where to find projects)?
avatar
guys ? ??
avatar
hey guys anyone online ? need to clear up 1 doubt, please.
avatar
Yeah he doesn't exactly have time left to waste on projects he doesn't want. I'll bet Robocop Returns will be worse than Robocop 2014. Anyway, Kershner's film was a perfectly acceptable sequel IMHO
avatar
I forget he is 81!
avatar
He's not blacklisted, he just doesn't want to make formulaic stuff and be stripped of his creativity by Hollywood who (in his words) thinks the audience is dumb. He only went to Hollywood in the first place because he couldn't get movies made in Holland anymore, now he can he's very happy making films in West Europe. He did go on record saying that if he had made Elle in the US (as he had originally planned to do) that the entire third act would have had to be completely different. There's no way he would want to direct a Robocop sequel, he's 81 and still working, he has better/original projects to work on.
avatar
@Valeyard. I bet there going to try. Has he gone on record saying he would never work in Hollywood again? Or has he been blacklisted for some reason?
avatar
@CSchmidlapp Verhoeven won't ever work in Hollywood again, and especially not for a sequel to a film he already made. Plus he's already making a new movie. @Evit I don't think Blomkamp was "fired" from Alien, he just never developed his film beyond a concept. Ridley Scott said no script had been presented. But yeah I wouldn't have any confidence in Blomkamp either.
avatar
@Moisty Blutopia mostly from what I know
avatar
I wouldn't have confidence in Blomkamp either, after District 9 they were all half-disastrous (with Chappie being nail in the coffin). After Chappie he was fired from the Alien series and his involvement with big productions have gone dry, making double the cost of production is just not cutting it from a business point of view. Plus, not counting District 9, they are all dumb (not in a fun way) movies, but here I'm taking personal opinion
avatar
yo where can i find sporv edits?
avatar
Hey Moiisty
avatar
hi
avatar
MGM should be talking to Verhoeven right about now Smile
avatar
District 9 was okayish. The rest was boring as hell.
avatar
Yeah only one, District 9, and it's nowhere near the quality of Paul Verhoeven's Robocop. Anyway he's off his "dream project" which clearly means MGM, the studio famously not known for creative interference, had no confidence in him!
avatar
"Blomkamp has only made one good movie": Not sure if serious or trolling. Wink
avatar
Yes but his reason for leaving is rubbish. He told a producer "I have always wanted to do this, this is my dream project" https://hnentertainment.co/exclusive-ed-...rs-return/ I'll bet he was fired as a writer and it went downhill from there. Blomkamp has only made one good movie, and he already left (or was fied) from "Greenland" earlier this year too.
avatar
It seems like they are still going to make that Robocop though, just without Blomkamp.
avatar
Neill Blomkamp is off Robocop Returns. Hmm, maybe he shouldn't have been making promises about a movie that didn't even have a completed script?! Just like "Alien 5"... https://twitter.com/NeillBlomkamp/status...8535439360
avatar
Depends on your taste/personality. Personally I would say no. You definitely need to see Infinity War to understand Endgame, but that's about it. The other movies are connected and tell what happened before, but that connection is only skin-deep and unless you tend to nerd out about little references here and there, it probably doesn't matter.
avatar
Ostensibly.
avatar
Phase 3 : I have only seen 3 films out of 11. Do I need to watch the remaining ones to get Avengers Infinity Endgame?
avatar
I wish it was still the 90s.
avatar
Definitely agreed. This teaser is so amazingly made that it's still giving me the chills!
avatar
Very cool! The good old days when they put a lot of effort into amazing teasers.
avatar
Has anyone seen this one before? https://vimeo.com/26034371
avatar
@Valeyard A lot of these trailers were either Post produced in the analog realm or a film-out of SD Digital Betacam Tapes
avatar
The interesting thing is that a lot of these articles assume that the trailer would have been available in HD now if it wasn't pulled in cinemas. That's not really true, even the Matrix trailer didn't exist in HD until I had it transferred! https://vimeo.com/212361397 and that's the same with many, many iconic trailers.
avatar
I might have to admit, that my first.. Scepticism was not necessary... Big Grin
avatar
avatar
8-35mm @ antonianafilm.it
avatar
avatar
even Esquire magazine wrote an article about the trailer!
avatar
Well, I'm not a lawyer, so maybe it sounds more problematic to me than it actually is.
avatar
Scanning isn't illegal, there's nothing they can sue them over, and that facility only does scaning not restoration or distribution...
avatar
Well, it was pretty lightheaded to publicly mention the scanning place to begin with.
avatar
Yeah, but I would have avoided naming people (even if just forum nicknames) or the forum... and especially not the scanning company.. if sony/columbia tristar is going to sue... they have infos
avatar
I don't think the attention hurts, read the youtube comments everyone's very positive about that upload (and almost 600,000 views too!) Plus every other article on it is positive too - and there seems to be lots of them. Tongue
avatar
Oh yeah, just what it needed.. attention... NOT!
avatar
avatar
Yoshi Killer2S, I would imagine.
avatar
avatar
Alright, well thanks anyway.
avatar
The US might have more bonus features...
avatar
I do not know. because I did not find infos about that US set
avatar
Is it any different to this version? https://www.amazon.com/Earth-Moon-Four-D...0783114222
avatar
this should be 1.33:1 PAL RC2, German/English Language
avatar
avatar
Yeah - I just realised that as soon as I got it!
avatar
But not the so called "Signature Edition" that is claimed to be 1.78:1
avatar
German oop DVD has it in 1.33:1
avatar
Does anybody know if the series 'From the Earth to the Moon' is available in its original 4:3 format?
avatar
I've spent the weekend and last few days in hospital as my daughter got herself in some trouble, and it was touch and go for a while. I might be offline for the rest of the week.

Time to die.
avatar
NOOOOOO!!! Sad Sad Sad R.I.P. Rutger, you were one of my favourite actor, star of so countless great movies that I can't remember...
avatar
"Like tears in the rain" will always be one of my most beloved movie scenes ever. RIP Rutger
avatar
WHAT?! Sad Rest in Peace!
avatar
avatar
No... I just have some DVD releases. And IIRC Germany started with the DC on DVD, and the TC was when every country got that 5 version DVD release...
avatar
They fixed digitally Ford's chin while he speaks, but this resulted in him being out of sync in all the dubs lol
avatar
I never knew! I wonder who forgot to insert dialogues there when they went to dub it. It makes me think that was never on the transcript, it's quite unheard of that they might forget something like that, or it was dubbed but mixed wrongly. Anyone from France or Germany has an early release with the theatrical cut at hand?
avatar
As far as I know, the dialog's always been low but audible in the English track. In fact, it was noticeably out of sync, which was why Ford's son was brought in to help fix the lip sync digitally for the FC.
avatar
I've just watched Blade Runner on Italian TV, it was the version with off-screen narration by a bored Harrison Ford and had no unicorn dream, so I imagine it's the theatrical cut (or international theatrical cut?). I was watching it with the English audio track on and I noticed an audio difference that I don't remember reading about. Dekkard goes into the pet shop to ask about the snake scale (just before going to Taffey Lewis club), on the English track I could hear all the dialogues when he asks the owner to tell him who bought the snake. I was surprised because I remember that scene having no audible dialogues, since Dekkard enters the shop but the camera stays outside and you're not SUPPOSED to hear him from inside the store. In Italian it was how I remembered it: only sounds from the street and no dialogues from inside the shop, it's clear what's happening anyway, Dekkard is roughening up the owner to obtain information. Are there alternate version of that scene in English where you don't hear the dialogues? Which version does it belong to?
avatar
Yep gone already. It was just for so many hours.
avatar
Don't see the deals online anymore. Are they gone?
avatar
Newegg USA has 10TB HDDs for $160 and 8TB HDDs for $125 for the next few hours. I'm tapped out, but if anyone is looking for storage, those are great prices.
avatar
Ah, the innocence of the youngsters... Happy
avatar
Ah makes sense then.
avatar
Laserdisc look like 12 inch CD's.
avatar
It was not in a sleeve shining in the late afternoon sun. Kind of hard to miss. Had a white label like Image titles did, but not certain. Passed that spot yesterday and it was gone of course.
avatar
@SilverWook was it without the packaging? Or how did you tell it apart from a vinyl record? i don't know anything about laserdiscs, just curious. I thought they were roughly the same size as records
avatar
Just get iZotope tbf
avatar
There's currently a sale on “Master Restoration Suite” by Wave Arts. Does anybody know if it's any good? https://vstbuzz.com/deals/70-off-master-...wave-arts/
avatar
Maybe something ultra rare... or some country music video clips...
avatar
Now I will always wonder what movie was on it.
avatar
I saw a Laserdisc lying on the side of the road today. Were it not in a bad traffic spot I would have tried to get it.
avatar
Just one night... Seems as we drive Friday to the concert... Sleep one night in Warsaw, and drive back to Berlin on Saturday... And on Sunday I'll drive back from Berlin to my personal destonation
avatar
So you're gonna be in Poland? Tongue
avatar
