hdtv 384kps ac3 2.0 mixes

actually found a few DVD's that have 384kps 2.0 tracks its shame they didn't use this on all of them.

I just wanted to let you know, my recent cap of Doctor Strange also had an ENG 2.0 384kbps audio stream.
First time I saw that on one of my caps.

That is such a beautiful thing. Did you also listen to the second track which is soundtrack-and-sfx-only in PCM(!)? The Workprint on that Blu Ray is also quite interesting. Although without the fine-tuned soundtrack of the full movie it doesn't have the same effectiveness. The alternative scenes also are rather weird on occasion.

Though it could be interesting to compare the two, maybe they're different mixes? The Arrow sometimes has some tape machine warble in it, which is totally acceptable but if there's an alternative it might be worth at least checking out for curiosity.

I did check it out although not in its entirety and, about the workprint version, you can see how much different the film is with temp music (lots of Morricone!).
