Hopefully this isn't "built in" so that it can't be fixed. I've noticed that polls which are still active display the notice This poll is closed. when a user is not signed in. However, when signed in it shows as active.
Polls should better show something like Sign in for this poll. as it's normal (not signed in) state. Then, when signed in, it will be shown to be active. When a poll is truly finished, then both these notices should be overridden by This poll is closed.
