Thanks for the comparisons. The differences look major in the first set of pics but minor in the other two. Would you say there is a big difference over all?

I have copies of the BD and what I assume might be the 2001 DVD print. Both are Australian releases. I've never compared them. But after seeing this, I might just have to.

I'm not big on anime and I saw this film way back when but the 2001 DVD color timing looks far nicer than the Bluray. It's sharper too.
