Sure, AVC endoding is lighter than VC-1, plus x264 helped a lot to spred its use, while proprietary VC-1 encoders did not help it.

VC-1 works well in AviSynth if you use DSS2, with FFMS2 or LSMASHSource I'm always ending up with heavy glitching throughout the movie.

One thing to note: the JPN blu-ray has only a 16 bit TrueHD track, while the Polish blu-ray has 24 bit PCM, and some other blu-rays have 24 bit DTS HD MA 5.1.
