Commando (1985) LD PCM
#1
[Image: r8YpdZs.jpg]

Title: Commando (1985)
LD Catalog #: 0148485
Hardware: Pioneer CLD-3030 to ESI U24XL
Format: 16-bit, 44.1khz, Stereo (bit perfect)
Synced: UK BD (Theatrical Cut)

The 5.1 remix on the BD has new SFX added and some slightly different music cues in spots, so now the original stereo track comes to the rescue for one of the greatest action movies of all time! I may also sync to the Director's cut if there's any interest.

Fantastic! I didn’t realize the BD was changed. Thanks for syncing this.

My pleasure! I actually didn't either until I started syncing them and noticing the differences. Some are really obvious, like when he jumps from the plane into the swamp, they added a bunch of new water foley there that doesn't seem to be in the original mix.

the lossy mix had more surround activity than the DTS HD
prefer the theatrical cut, im used to hearing jenny say 'smash ur face in' instead of 'kicking your ass'

Like both the theatrical and the director's cut so would definitely be interested in a synched track for that one as well.

Thanking you in advance.

Oh boy, that steel drum score gonna sound great!

Is the 2.0 track on the old R1 Director's Cut DVD the original stereo or is it a fold down with the added foley?

I think it's the Original Stereo mix, but only for the Theatrical Cut.
