Help Hard Target missing alternate scene
#1
There is a part in the trailer for Hard Target where Van Cleef says "Look at it this way you're gonna get to meet elvis" after cutting the money belt off Roper's body. As far as I know this isn't in any known cut of the movie. Does this part actually exist in a cut of the movie or was it made just for the trailer for marketing?

Welcome to Fanres MeanjohnRambo

It only exists in the Trailer bud.
Quite alot of the shots in the Trailer are alternative takes or angles.

There are 2 work-prints floating around the internet that are worth a look, but even these don't have shot's contained in the trailer.

Makes sense. I only have the version B but it seems like version B is the only one I can find atm

Version A is pretty shabby.
No SFX to speak off and no temp score.
But it looks like it's sourced from an assembly cut off the avid rather that a 'test screener'.

Oh I thought version A was the test screening with the score from different movies. I'm assuming that's the best version

Here is a good break down of the workprints.

Sneek Peek (B) Vs Workprint (A)

B is very watchable for VHS(ish) quality, And the one most talk about.
So the version you have does not have any temp score?

No it's the 128 minute version with no score and really bad quality. It says version B

By the looks of it we're getting our A's and B's mixed up!

To be honest I always refer to them as as 'Sneek Peek' and 'Workprint'.
But that began almost pre-internet.
