Like its companion film Blood for Dracula, Flesh for Frankenstein has never had a perfect HD release. The Australian Blu Ray is an upscale, the Japanese Blu Ray has optical censoring and the German Blu Ray was extremely limited, contained dirt + dust and had lossy audio.
The video source for this project is the German Blu Ray, with filters applied to remove most of the dirt and dust without touching the rest of the picture.
