Hello to all!

I've been looking into fan restorations of films for a while. I discovered fanres a few days ago when looking into Marvel films, as I'm doing a marathon at the moment and was wondering if there were alternate copies available out there.

I'm intrigued by the projects I've seen on here and will do whatever I can do to contribute. I don't have much to offer but am happy to discuss film and restoration with anyone willing to! I did a Master's paper on old film restoration and have been fascinated by the process for years.

Looking forward to being part of the community!

Welcome aboard! I'm sure given your background there'll be plenty of knowledge you can bring to a number of discussions - there are number on here active in 35mm print preservations.

Thank you! It's been a hot minute since I did any work on the matter, but my fascination knows no bounds!
