Mad Max - itunes exclusive documentaries

24 Replies, 6356 Views

It turns out that there are two documentaries in the itunes extras for the Mad Max movies which haven't been released anywhere else. They are:

Going Mad: The Battle of Fury Road (2017) - attached to MM:FR

Road War (2016) - attached to MM2 / The Road Warrior

Does anyone have the capacity to grab these for those of us that already have teetering piles of physical copies and don't need a digital version (least of all on an unwieldy platform like itunes)?

Cheers!
I bought the iTunes Fury road and Going Mad is indeed a great doco. But sadly can't grab it just watch it.

Road War I haven't seen. I will buy it only when they remaster RW with the correct colors. Which means never.
Are these on the MGM 4k version on US ITunes, or the Warner copies on UK/EU ITunes?
I didn't know MGM were involved in the distribution of anything but the first movie - aren't Road Warrior and Fury Road still firmly Warner properties?

Anyway, these were originally mentioned in a report from the US, but I've confirmed that they're also present on the itunes extras for those films in the UK.
Found an article about the Fury Road doc

Mad max is Warner in the UK, and MGM in the USA.

Apparently it was included on digital copies on the Black and Chrome Blu-ray release but wasn't advertised. (presumably the US version because iTunes, Flixster never had special features like this before it ported over to Google Play)

I got the Anthology set second hand for £10 and ditched the High Octane release just because of the price. Glad I did that now because it's clear that even that set wasn't complete
I've just spent a fruitless couple of hours trying to install itunes 10.7 on an old PC so I can 'access' the files if I buy them. Finally got it running and it seems I can't log into my account on a version that old. Bit stuck now.

Same here.
I always thought lack of material on the making of Fury Road was criminal!
The black and Chrome release should have been an extra feature on the Blu also.

I don't want to go anywhere near iTunes.
Hopefully the doc will be made available by other means soon.
Thanks for trying good sir.
