Righting Wrongs aka Above The Law

Hi All,

I'm working on a project of the above. I've been collecting together various audio sources but I need to apply a delay to most of them. The problem is one of them is True HD, a Cantonese 7.1 track from the blu ray, and I'm not aware that it's possible to add a delay to this type of audio file?

If not I guess I have two options

  • Demux it to wav, add the delay, then encode as a DTS HD file
  • Leave it off altogether. I already have 5.1 and 2.0 Cantonese tracks, so I wonder what value the 7.1 track will add. For the video CMS Media used an upscale instead of a HD Scan so I wouldn't put it past them to have done a lax job on the audio as well.
Any ideas or suggestions welcome.

Thanks
I say leave it off. Its a remix of a remix. I think you are fine with the other tracks.

Good movie BTW
You should be able to delay the TrueHD in your muxer by setting the appropriate value. The fact that eac3to can't "hard code" the delay shouldn't prevent you from applying a "soft" delay upon authoring.
One of the best HK Action films of the 80's, I am so looking forward to this! I have a DVD copy of the Dragon Dynasty version so if you need any elements please let me know my friend
