Why this movie hasn't been released on Blu-ray is beyond me. It's pretty good and has a great cast.
So did this movie appear in HD in it's OAR of 2.35:1 anywhere or are we stuck with cropped version, like the one from Amazon?
It turns out that I'm not the only person who is interested in this question) I checked and check all the appearing versions of the Amazon, unfortunately everywhere the crop is 16: 9
Another 90s classic, Dead Presidents was the same for a long time. No 2:35 release. Only cropped 1:85 but then magically an OAR release surfaced in HD format. In the early 80s there were 2:35 LTBX releases of eg Fulci movies on VHS but I guess things have not progressed much since then. Soon there may be Pan & Scan versions again ...
It's crazy this movie has not had a decent release!
I loved this film on VHS and Ive been holding out for a re watch for almost 20 years!
