...and have taken advantage of the digital code, what format are the resulting 4K digital copies in? Do they have some form of DRM or copy-protection? And how large are they in terms of file size?
I ask because, at this point, I don't have a 4K set or player, but don't want to close off my avenues in the future by waiting for the standard Blu-Ray re-release this fall. I'd much rather prefer purchasing the 4K sets, downloading the digital copies, and then downconverting them to 1080p so I can watch them on my current setup for the time being. (And, yes, I live in the U.S., so would be eligible to download them in full 4K.) Thanks for any information you could give me.
