There doesn't seem to be a specific rule about re-sharing projects and I often see requests popping up for them, either because they're no longer available from the original creator or are hosted on hard to join sites, so I thought I'd ask what the general etiquette was in these cases.
Thanks.

Yeah I guess would be best to just ask in the release thread if the original poster minds or not.
Thanks.

I suspect it's kind of an individual thing aye. Personally, I'd go the other way: I would rather things weren't too widely available (e.g. on trackers and so forth). Even if you're not necessarily putting them there yourself, the more things are shared, the more chance there is that somebody else will. Ultimately nothing we can really do to stop that but I don't have enough pride in my work at this stage for that to outweigh my desire to keep things somewhat under the radar. Hardly anybody seems to care much about the stuff I've made so far (generally speaking) and honestly that's kinda the way I like it, hahah.

I want to add it would also depend if its a publicly released project (like here in the Released section) or something that was for donators only, which I personally have one on Original Trilogy, those of course aren't for sharing. If it's publicly released then sharing is fine with me.
