[Released] Zack Snyder's Justice League - "Ridiculous Edit"
#1
This non-fan edit aims to make Zack Snyder's Justice League a ridiculous, incoherent and boring movie. Since ZSJL is a really excellent movie, it's pretty challenging, so it's of academic interest. It follows in the footsteps left in the swamp of ridiculousness by masterpieces such as "Star Wars - Episode I: The Ridiculous Menace"

Incomplete list of changes:
- Make the colors look really boring and Marvel-ish
- Add silly jokes that completely ruin the atmosphere
- Exchange the dynamic soundtrack for something really sluggish, out of place and not in sync with the picture for maximum effect of ridiculousness.
- Cut off the beautiful picture to fit 16:9
- Cut the movie down to 2 hours
- Remove anything that gives depth or coherence to the story, such as buildup, character background, any form of emotional satisfaction
- Basically just cut from scene to scene as fast as possible to make the movie feel hurried and like it doesn't take itself seriously
- Make some strange color changes
- Generally lots of little edits throughout the movie that just generally make it more sh*tty

This project is released under the name "Justice League (2017)" and you can watch it here.

Thanks!

Nice gag, but this one isn't ridiculous. I have serious doubts that the picture was originally meant to be presented in 1.33:1, considering the obvious 16:9/1.85:1 framing in most shots (lots of head room) and especially considering the few shots that have been cropped on the sides to achieve a 1.33:1 frame.
Finest kind.

Aye I'm finding that too. I don't think it's primarily framed for 1.33:1, it looks wrong a lot of the time: either too much space vertically and/or seems cramped horizontally, depending on the shot.

I love the 4:3, but it's pretty telling that it's easy to zoom the TV to fill a 16x9 display and have the movie look fine overall

It was intended to be released in theaters worldwide in 1.85:1... with the 4:3 version meant to be used for an IMAX release

Mate, can you please tell which scenes you have found with sides cropped? I am quite curious.
