The UHD synced Cinema DTS-ES 6.1 audio for Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone (2001) is now available. Contributing members drop me a PM.

This is my own rip and sync. The raw files were converted using the foobar2000 APT-X100 plugin. The surround channels have been attenuated by -3Db and the LFE channel boosted +6Db which should be the correct theatrical level. Despite just having the standard DTS logo in the end credits, the DTS CD has a DTS-ES serial number indicating that this is a matrixed 6.1 mix.

The Cinema DTS track that I have is the US "Sorceror's Stone" version, the UHD I have is the UK "Philosopher's Stone" version (which is also my preferred version) so I've patched the two altered sequences using the UK BD PCM 5.1 with channels level-matched. The result is seamless to my ears. If ever I get hold of the UK Cinema DTS, I'll redo this with 100% theatrical audio.

The track is a DTS-HD MA file. If muxing into an MKV you should apply a -21ms offset to compensate for the additional silence added by the encoder. I haven't baked this adjustment into the track as some authoring programs adjust for it automatically.
If anybody has any of these Cinema DTS tracks please let me know as I'd be happy to sync them to their respective BD/UHD releases.

Fond memories of hearing this one in cinemas, albeit usually in Dolby Digital. Do these patches throw off the sync with the US version terribly?

Also, how does the audio look/sound compared to the home releases? I have the US BD with both the LPCM and AC3 tracks on it and they always sounded good to my ears.

Any hope having the Cinema DTS synced to the US UHD? I prefer that one, and I'm sure there's others who grew up in burger land that have nostalgia for that version.

I'm not sure how this syncs to the US version. But there are actually alternate shots with the kids saying "Sorcerer's Stone" so the audio wouldn't match the lip movements.

The BD PCM is closest to the theatrical (hence I used it for patching). The Cinema DTS is a little more dynamic and actually has tamer LFE.

Unfortunately I'm limited in both time and cloud storage space. I've actually got quite a few more tracks that I want to sync so I probably won't do more than one version of each for now. If nobody else does it, maybe I'll revisit it further down the road.
If anybody has any of these Cinema DTS tracks please let me know as I'd be happy to sync them to their respective BD/UHD releases.

This is very interesting. I never even heard of DTS-ES 6.1, let alone as a theatrical format.

I finished syncing the CDTS to the US "Sorceror's Stone" UHD. Thanks to Turisu for doing most of the hard work.
It's a DTS-HD file so if muxing into an MKV apply a -21ms offset.

We yanks express our thanks for the US sync!

I have the early US Blu-ray release and it does appear to line up nicely without any further changes. For those with the UHD, would you say its worth purchasing? I've always felt this Blu-ray was a good representation of the prints we ran.

Happy 20th Harry!
