I took the stereo mix from a PAL DVD release. The NTSC DVD release (as well as the blu-ray) only has a 5.1 track. I think the stereo mix sounds generally nicer. But even better; it doesn't contain any added SFX, which can be heard occasionally on the 5.1 remix on the blu-ray.
I wanted to be able to watch this 1985 gem with a preferable sound mix. Let me know if you're interested in this synced .wav file.
