I purchased a French DVD which included a 2.0 English track:

this mix is less noise reduced than the 5.1, 4.1 and 4.0 (re)mixes available on the NTSC DVD's. This is especially audible during more quiet parts when A/B comparing them. After i converted the track from 25 to 23.976 fps it took some editing, but it now syncs perfectly to the US blu-ray. It might too with the UK and DE releases, but i have no idea to be honest.
