is there any software to convert the audio to Dolby TrueHD? Everywhere I see people asking how to convert Dolby True HD to LPCM or DTS-HD MA but not vice versa. What is the reason? Is it not possible or perhaps not recommended? It is almost impossible to find a Blu-ray with Dolby TrueHD audio track, always DTS-HD or LPCM.

There is no freely available TrueHD encoder out there. The DTS-HD encoder isn't free, but a cracked version is available which is why some fan projects will use DTS. I also can't think of any particular reason you would want TrueHD over DTS/PCM.
There is no particular reason. I see that everyone converts the audio to DTS-HD and never to DolbyTrueHD. I just can't find any software that allows me to convert to Dolby TrueHD. Could you tell me the name of any software that allows it?

Indeed, there is no reason to convert to TrueHD instead of DTS-HD MA, PCM, or FLAC - if it's a compliance problem, DTS-HD MA is BD (or UHD-BD) compliant as much as TrueHD.
