"Impressions de France" is one of the longest running shows at EPCOT. It is one of the most beautiful montages ever, yet technical specifications for the film appear to be extremely scarce.
So far, existing source audios only have it in a stereo 2.0 mix or mono 2.0. If you were to be in the showroom, you'd find a number of "speakers" in various areas along the ceiling (5.1 / 6-tracks?)
Is it really just a stereo track with extra channels similar to the "Baby Boom" tracks, or a genuine 6-track mix? Are the chattering of people and diagetic sounds also in discrete stereo sound, or are they matrix encoded?
A stereo 2.0 mix doesn't do this short film any justice, and I feel it deserves a discrete 6-track (or 5.1 surround) mix as heard in the theater.
My goal in question is to create a 6-track Lossless Surround Mix of Impressions de France.
