I don't think this movie was mono. I believe it was Dolby Surround and discrete 4-track.

Yeah, that's my recollection. I do have a transfer of the first US LD release (1984 or thereabouts), in case anybody wants it. The audio was Dolby Surround, so it should be the theatrical mix or close to it, even if, unfortunately, it's a bit quiet due to being an analog track.
